Boat trip
The one thing I remember about the boat trip out to Great Keppel was the great sense of anticipation. We were nearly there. After a full day and night of bus travel it was great to almost be there. We could see the islands out there off the coast. We picked out Great Keppel and watched in anticipation as we headed out there. Everyone on the boat was talking avidly. We were almost there. The excitement was obvious. This boat trip was a real event for us.
