Reception
The reception are at Keppel Haven. This is where you pick up your keys, where you can buy food, drink, post cards and souvenirs. There is a public phone here as well. Adjacent to reception is a bar and restaraunt

Many of the tours and water activities can be booked here. Make sure you have your student card ready for discounts. Always make sure you get a ticket for each and everyone going on the tour.

The bar can become quite crowded at night.
Downing a drink or too was a great way to get into the spirit of things. The bar had quite a selection of drinks. I don't drink so I don't know how reasonable the prices were. It was illegal to import your own alcohol to Great Keppel Island.
Live bands seemed a regular feature of Keppel Haven life.
